At Pia Jewellery we are committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity, from the careful choice of whom we work with and how we do business with them, right through to the parcel delivered to your door.  We are equally committed to following environmental practices that make business sense and best protect the environment. We are not perfect, but we certainly do try.

We share our passion for our products with suppliers both in the UK and across the globe, understanding that our customers expect each piece to be beautifully made and good value, while ethically traded. We believe in working together with our partners to help drive improvements and monitor their progress through regular visits. All of our precious and semi-precious stones are carefully sourced to be conflict free, rest assured that our diamonds all comply with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. Where we use coral this is always from sustainable sources. Abalone are caught under strict limitations to ensure that they are not overfished and some have been successfully farmed as a food with the shells a by-product. However certain types of abalone are at risk including green and pink. The abalone used in our jewellery has been obtained from reputable sources and when appearing as pink or green has been dyed to these colours.

We are proud of our catalogues and strive to make them more exciting every season. However, we are fully aware of the paper usage this involves. Our catalogues are printed on paper from sustainable European forests and are fully recyclable and biodegradable.

Most recently, we have re-designed our Pia branded gift boxes to ensure that they are printed on card from sustainable forests and are fully recyclable and biodegradable. We are in the process of phasing out our previous partially recyclable boxes.

We always welcome feedback from our customers and take this opportunity to let you know that we are working hard to make the right decision.
