As it was quite an expensive item (reduced from over £200) I would have like a bit of a description of what it was made of (eg GOLD and was it silver or platinum?). It was for an 18th birthday present, and I could not find a hallmark on it so felt it could have been perceived to have been gold plated!!

Although I have given this 'good', I do think the earrings seem rather 'lightweight' for the price. Also, the insert in the box was poor, since it had an additional two holes, besides the ones needed for the earrings - this looked rather shoddy, so - as these are a gift - I have replaced the Pia box with one of my own. I have previously been pleased with Pia products (in fact, cheaper ones than these!) and so I was willing to pay what I consider to be quite a lot for these earrings. However, I am not sure I will risk spending this much on a Pia product again.
